Sunset Maternity Session on the Pembrokeshire Coast with Toddler

There’s something magical about maternity photoshoots on the coast, especially at sunset. This beautiful session took place on one of Pembrokeshire’s most scenic beaches - Freshwaterwest.

I met with Mum, dad and little A at golden hour. It was during a heatwave so I knew we were going to get a dreamy sunset. Mum had initially had some reservations about keeping A up late for the summer time shoot, but I assured her that it would absolutely be worth it for the golden glow. Most little ones are so happy to be running around and playing on the beach, they forget to be grumpy and tired! I always follow a toddlers lead. peek-a-boo with Mum’s dress was a big hit for this little lady.

Now I’m not going to pretend that this little lady was super interested in her soon to be sibling for the entire photoshoot. However we managed to get some really beautiful moments. We played and ran about a lot because that’s what makes most toddlers happy!

And of course no beach photoshoot here in Pembrokeshire in the summer is complete without a dip in the sea. Have a look at just a few of the moments we captured below to see just how much fun we had.

Mum was 32 weeks pregnant and wore one of my client closet dresses, which looked absolutley beautiful on her! Paired perfectly with dad and little A to create a well balanced look for their photos.
